This classic cheese sauce recipe will never get tired. A great accompaniment to any vegetable.
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup grated cheese
- Heat oil in saucepan and add flour.
- Stir and cook for approximately one minute.
- Gradually add milk in small amounts, mixing until smooth.
- Continue until all milk has been added.
- Return to a low heat and bring to a simmer, stirring often.
- Stir through grated cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
